About Time-Lapse Photography Calculator
Time-Lapse Photography Calculator is a free, independent tool. It helps photographers plan time-lapse shoots: interval, shot count, clip length, and storage.
Everything runs in your browser. Numbers you type are not uploaded or stored. Results are estimates for planning. Double-check anything that would be expensive to reshoot.
How the calculators work
All pages use the same method: photos = shooting time ÷ interval (nearest whole photo), clip length = photos ÷ frame rate, and storage = photos × file size ÷ 1,000 (1 GB = 1,000 MB). A 2 hour shoot at a 5 second interval is 1,440 photos. Device-specific modes on phones and action cameras vary, so the pages point you to the manual rather than guess.
What this site does not do
It does not pick an exposure, a holy-grail ramp, or a camera preset. It does not need an account. There is no ad script on the pages yet.
